Vancouver Canucks defenseman Christian Ehrhoff (5), of Germany, congratulates goalie Roberto Luongo (1) after the Canucks beat the Nashville Predators 4-2 in an NHL hockey game Sunday, March 7, 2010, in Nashville, Tenn.

Another third-period deficit was no problem for the high-scoring Vancouver Canucks. Wild chase Luongo, beat Canucks 6-2 (AP)

Vancouver Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo (1) looks back to see the puck in the net after Minnesota Wild left wing Guillaume Latendresse, not shown, scored during the first period in an NHL hockey game, Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, in St. Paul, Minn. Luongo gave up five goals as Minnesota won 6-2.

The Vancouver Canucks were tired and a little testy, perhaps prematurely looking ahead to the Olympic break. Given seven power-play opportunities against their division rival, the Minnesota Wild took full advantage of the rough stuff with one of their best all-around games of the season. Niklas Backstrom got his first win in three weeks, and the Wild scored three of their four power-play goals…

A B-2 bomber executes a fly-over before the New Year's Day Winter Classic NHL hockey game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins at Fenway Park in Boston, Friday, Jan. 1, 2010. The Bruins won 2-1.

The Boston Bruins provided their own unique finish to Fenway Park's history of memorable endings.
